It is important for children to attend school regularly and arrive punctually for school as this gives the best possible start in life. Parents/carers should call the school office 01287 621011 before 9:00am (option 1) or send an email to spsattendance@saltburnprimaryschool.co.uk to notify us of the reason that the pupil will be unable to attend school. Unless we hear from parents/carers, the absence will be recorded as unauthorised.
We celebrate good and improved attendance/punctuality with certificates and rewards given to individuals and at class level.
Leave of Absence is only authorised in exceptional circumstances. The application using this form must be made four weeks in advance with the supporting documentation where appropriate.
